MADDEN BOWL FEVER HITS SAN DIEGO!

EA SPORTS Hosts 9th Annual Football Videogame Tournament

Top NFL players from around the league and Hollywood celebrities will be competing on Thursday, January 23, to see who will be crowned The EA SPORTS Madden Bowl Champion on the PlayStation 2.

For the ninth straight year the most exciting pre-game activity during Super Bowl week is the EA SPORTS Madden Bowl. This videogame tournament features NFL players as well as celebrities going head-to-head on the #1 selling football videogame franchise in the world, Madden NFL 2003. Madden Bowl will be hosted by Shannon Sharpe of the Denver Broncos, Bill Bellamy of Fastlane and Roselyn Sanchez from Boat Trip and Rush Hour 2.

NFL players and celebrities scheduled to participate in and attend the EA SPORTS MADDEN BOWL 2003 include: Daunte Culpepper (Vikings), Marcellus Wiley, Quentin Jammer (Chargers), Derrick Brooks - NFL Defensive Player of the Year (Buccaneers), Terrell Owens, Garrison Hearst, Jeff Garcia (49ers), Phillip Buchanon, Barry Sims, Langston Walker, Charlie Garner, Tyrone Wheatley, Rod Woodson (Raiders), Antwaan Randle El (Steelers), Shaun Alexander, Shawn Springs (Seahawks), Sammy Knight, (Saints), Ray Mickens (Jets), Ahman Green (Packers), Tony Gonzalez (Chiefs), Anthony Thomas (Bears), Corey Dillon (Bengals), Michael Bennett (Vikings), Jevon Kearse (Titans), Joey Porter (Steelers), Roy Williams, Dexter Coakley (Cowboys), Johnnie Harris (Giants), Jacquez Green - 2-time Madden Bowl winner (Lions).
