Interactive Software, Inc. Takes Lead in
Expanding Palm Pilot Gaming Market
Take-Two
Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO)
announced today that its Global Star subsidiary
had garnered 52% of the expanding Palm Pilot
market in North America in January 2001 according
to PC Data. Five of the top ten titles for the
month of January were Global Star releases.
Take-Two
also announced that its critically acclaimed
Grand Theft Auto title will be available for the
Palm Pilot later this year. Other scheduled
releases for this platform include Take-Two's
top-selling Action Bass and Jet Fighter titles.
These titles are expected to be available for the
2001 holiday selling season in both North America
and Europe.
