Lilo and Stitch: Island of Adventures is a unique DVD game by Walt Disney that combines the movie experience and the resources of a DVD with the traditional fun of a classic board game to create a whole new world of excitement. In the box there are a DVD disk plus a board game with what you need to play like the red and blue circle carton of Experiments and 6 yellow pictures carton vehicles; Lilo's trike, skateboard, bicycle, Nani's car, Jumba's dune buggy and Cobra's sedan.
The goal of the game is to finish the game with the most collected Experiments, Stitch's cousins. To begin the game, just start the CD and Lilo will explain to you how its played. First you need to select your vehicle and instead of dice, on the CD you spin a record where you can advance from 1 to 4 spaces.
The playing board represent the entire island of Hawaii where you will travel throughout 5 different colored areas that are tropical environments; The main street in Lilo's town, Gantu's ship sits ominously at the base of a waterfall, a dramatic waterfall surrounded by lush foliage, a rugged cliff overlooking a beautiful white sand beach and a popular rentals location for island adventurers.

As you travel the space you can fall on spaces where there are either a Tiki, a Frog, a Tourist and Nani. Each one will or will not help to gain Experiment and are all done with an animation where different characters tell you what will happened next. Like with the Tiki space represent over 200 mystery cards, with the Frog they are 10 mini on-screen games to play and the Tourist represent 10 fun Physical Activities. The game is fun and full of surprise since you have unexpected animations that can come up has you spin the record. Plus your favorite characters from the movie like Lilo, Stitch, Nani, David, Jumba, Dr.Hamsterviel, Gantu and many Stitch's cousins, the Experiments wll be appearing at random time while you play.
There is also a Quick Game where instead of starting from the beginning of the game you start at the Lock Out where you will play only the last 2 environments of the game.
As Bonus Feature their are 2 episodes of the Stitch series ; Mr Stitchy and Clip plus a beautiful little posters with Stitch, his friends and some of his cousins. It is the first time that Walt Disney makes a DVD game like Lilo and Stitch: Island of Adventures, the game is original and its a new way to enjoy and play with the Disney characters. |
