Software Launch Online Competition
Following
the successful launch of their online comic,
Slitherine Software have decided to run a
competition based on it: "Good news
for all you T-Tex fans out there! How do
you like the idea of writing an episode for our
online comic, the Adventures of Tyrannosaurus
Tex? We're giving you just that opportunity
in our great competition! Send us your
ideas for an episode and if your idea is picked,
we will draw it up and post it on this
page. We'll also make sure everyone knows
it was your idea by pasting your name all over
it, but not only that, we'll keep the original
concept sketches that were used in creating it
and send them to you for you to keep! Now
what could be better than that!
Runners up will
also receive concept sketches but from other
episodes. To enter the competition you
need to send us your plan for the episode.
There should be 8-12 pictures in the episode. You
need to describe what is happening in each
picture and what the characters are saying.
You can even send us a story board if you have an
art package and can draw, or scan in your
pictures. Don't forget by the time this
episode comes out, at least 3 other episodes of
the comic will already have been posted here by
us, so make sure your story does not follow
directly from the episodes you see now, but
follows the general theme of the story.
We'll make a few tweaks at this end to make sure
any loose ends in your story fit in with what's
happening in the overlying story, but not so much
that you wont recognise it. You must also
send us your name, address and e-mail address, or
else how are we going to get the prizes to you!
All entries must
be submitted to us before 31st December
2000. The winners will be selected by 10th
January 2001, when we will start work on it and
the finished episode will be posted on the web
site on the 5th February 2001.
