LADYDRAGON.COM - Parappa the Raper 2

Developed by Kodiak Interactive and published by Sony, Monsters Inc. is a 3D action platform game that is based on the animated movie Disney/Pixar Monsters Inc.

First let me inform you that it is not the same Monsters Inc. as the one on the PS One.

In this version you will play a big blue monster with little horns called James P. Sullivan who is known as Sulley who works for Henry J. Waternoose the CEO of Monatera Incorporated, the biggest scream processing factory in Monatropolis.

The game will start in his factory where you need to collect different items. Specific items needs to be found in order to progress to the next level.

The story line is about a character named Boo, a little girl who Sulley lets her slip by mistake into Monatropolis.

In Sulley's world kids are toxic so he must find Boo and returned her to her bed where she belong as quickly as possible before any damage is done.

To help Sulley accomplish this task there is friend Mike Wazowaki a green eye monster that will give him some information when you go see him there also other characters that you can talk too through out the game.

During the game there is also some challenge that you need to do within a limit amount of time like scaring 5 mice in 30 seconds.

The items that you can collect are Discarded Screams, Treats, Health icon, Keys and Scream Canisters. There is also yellow question marks post through out the levels where you can get Hints.

Plus on the screen on your bottom left corner there is the display of which button does what like the Triangle to talk to Mike in order to guide you.

As for Sulley's abilities he can jump, scare, activate switches, sneak, cover his face, hide, grab, pull up, smash with his Tail Whip Attack and Talk.

As you progress in your game you will unlock bonus levels and movie clips. In the Extra you will not only be able to view the clip that you have unlocked but Concept art, Trailers and even take a Pixar Tour.

Unless you are a fan of that movie this game might not keep your interest for long specially if you play platform game often.

The graphic of the game is quite simple and characters look pretty much like the one in the movie and are nice to look at.

You will be able to enjoy the voice of Sulley being played by John Goodman, Mike by Billy Crystal and actress like Jennifer Tilly doing the voice of Celia.

Monsters Inc in this version is not exactly a kid game or an advance game it kind of stands in between. Too easy for some and too had for other so it will depend on your level of expertise with platform game.
