First Glimpse of Highly Anticipated Role Playing

Arts, the exclusive publisher of all SQUARESOFT
products in North America, will host a FINAL
FANTASY IX Consumer Demo Day inside the world's
only PlayStation store at Metreon---A Sony
Entertainment Center, in San Francisco on October
7, 2000. The event will give consumers the
opportunity to play the highly anticipated role
playing game, FINAL FANTASY IX, from SQUARESOFT,
a month before it hits store shelves. FINAL
FANTASY IX is the latest installment in the
best-selling FINAL FANTASY series, which to date
has sold more than 30 million units
worldwide. Attendees will have the
opportunity to play FINAL FANTASY IX at demo
stations as well as receive promotional items.
FINAL FANTASY IX
for the PlayStation game console centers on an
evil queens desire to dominate the world
and features a rich storyline and subplots. The
game features eight characters that use a variety
of weapons, magic and monsters in a quest for
good over evil. FINAL FANTASY IX is
scheduled for release in mid-November.
