Nintendo
and Ubi Soft at La Ronde for the Game Boy Advance
launch in Montreal
Nintendo Canada and Ubi Soft was at La Ronde this
morning for the official launch of their new
portable console called the Game Boy Advance from
Nintendo.
Once the home of
some dolphins now the Megadome is the home for
Nintendo at La Ronde the biggest amusement park
in the province of Québec. The Megadome is the
place that you can play different games from
Nintendo. Super Mario Advance and F-Zero: Maximum
Velocity are the two games from Nintendo for the
Game Boy Advance.
Their was also a
special treat for the players today since Ubi
Soft was there also for the official launch of
their game Rayman Advance. They had a stand where
you could play the game . Rayman Advance has been
developed by Digital Eclipse and Ubi Soft
produced it here in Montreal.
Ubi Soft is a
French company from France, they have development
studios all over the world and the one in
Montreal is the biggest of them all with over 400
employees. Not only they have done Rayman Advance
but now they are working on their new game
Batman. We had the chance to see a preview of the
game that will come out in the fall click on Batman to see
the preview with exclusive pictures.
After the press
conference, they let the players that was outside
come in to play the games after a while the
players had the opportunity to ask questions to
Lesley Short Director of Nintendo Canada and
Yannis Mallat from the Rayman Advance team and
Bertrand Hélias from the Batman team. All sort
of questions was asked, it was fun to see the
interest of so many players.
