The following is a list of titles that Sony Computer Entertainment America will be showing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2003 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

EyeToy™

EyeToy™, exclusively for PlayStation 2, is an entirely unique party gaming experience for people of all ages. Incorporating a unique USB camera that utilizes motion-tracking technology, gamers instantly become the main character in their own game as interactive entertainment is taken to a whole new level! It is simple, yet captivating, and the consumer friendly gameplay makes EyeToy the ultimate "party-game" where children, teenagers, young adults, parents and even grandparents can join in the fun! Simply by plugging in the EyeToy USB Camera to the USB port on the front of the PlayStation 2, the player’s image is projected on-screen. The player becomes the star of the game and must use his/her hands, feet, knees and more to win the wide variety of mini-games! EyeToy includes 12 exciting mini-games based on music, puzzles, sports and other original genres including Wishi-Washi, Beat Freak, Kung Foo, Keep-Ups, Boxing Chump, UFO Juggler, and many more. FINAL FANTASY® XI

For decades, gamers have embarked upon journeys through the unforgettable worlds of the FINAL FANTASY® franchise. The FINAL FANTASY series is world-renowned for creating new standards in the RPG genre, while redefining the limits of existing technology. FINAL FANTASY has now entered the next evolutional phase – online play. In FINAL FANTASY XI, players are immersed in an expansive, original storyline as they embark on missions and build up their character’s skills and attributes, either alone or with other members of the community, ultimately creating the history of an expansive world called Vana’diel. Vana’diel will provide players with multiple adventures through vast environments ranging from mountains forests, ice plains, deserts, oceans, rivers, castles and dungeons. Vana’diel is truly a persistent world, composed of three unique regions: the Republic of Bastok, the Kingdom of San d’Oria, and the Federation of Windurst. With the ability to create unique characters, encompassing a variety of races, facial features, size, hair-styles and attributes, players will be able to play at their own pace and form parties with other players while embarking on multiple adventures. Various communication tools have been incorporated into FINAL FANTASY XI to assist in interaction between players, including easy-to-learn chat and messaging systems.

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando™

Rise to Honor™

Inspired by the excitement and cinematic styling of the Hong Kong action movie genre, Rise to Honor™ is a fast-paced action game developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. Created by Sony Computer Entertainment America’s Foster City Studio in collaboration with worldwide film star Jet Li Rise to Honor will immerse players into an action packed story line centered around family, deceit and honor in a chain of dangerous events extending from Hong Kong to San Francisco. Rise to Honor lets gamers simultaneously battle multiple enemies through a multifaceted fight system incorporating hand-to-hand moves, weapon based attacks and interactive objects to defeat enemies. Using motion capture technology to incorporate Jet Li’s signature moves, Rise to Honor adds a new level of realism and authenticity into the action genre.

SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs

Protect America from enemy forces throughout the world in SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs, exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. The sequel to the more than one million unit selling SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs, SOCOM is back with new gameplay, chat functionality, mission types, weapons and more. Developed by Zipper Interactive in association with Naval Special Warfare Command, SOCOM II places you in the role of an elite SEAL commander whose team’s orders are simple – strike targets of importance within 12 all new intense international missions ranging from Algeria and Albania to Brazil and Russia. Players will also be able to confront the enemy in collaboration with various international special forces like the British SAS and the Russian Spetznaz. Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain

Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain explodes onto the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system as the latest chapter of the Syphon Filter storyline with edge of your seat offline and online action. The newest installment in the multimillion unit selling series offers sophisticated and highly intelligent AI, richly detailed worlds, an enhanced character customization system and groundbreaking cooperative, peer-to-peer online gameplay.
