Enter a universe
where the toons rule the road in Cel
Damage. This frantic vehicular combat title
reaches into the violent and wacky world of
cartoon physics to present vehicular combat with
a fun new twist.
Players will take
command of any of the six main characters, each
with their own unique machine of cartoon
destruction, and enter battle in over 10 levels
based on four different cartoon themes. 36
different weapon power-ups will make sure the
action never gets stale, while "guest
stars" and their unlockable cars raise the
number of playable characters to 10.
The battles take
place in a world controlled by toons,
ranging in style from Fowl Mouth, an old black
and white cartoon duck from the 30s, to an
anime-style manga girl named Skully and a rude,
crude, gross-out toon named Sinder. Since
the toons dont really die, players
will be able to score multiple "kills"
with power-ups such as the Axe (a giant axe
attached to the front of the car) and the Shrink
Ray (which drops the target to 25% of its
original size). Each theme features multiple gags
and triggered traps, such as giant Venus flytraps
in the jungle and UFO attacks in space.
Gameplay modes
include a classic deathmatch and a
capture-the-flags scenario in which the flags
themselves actively try to avoid capture. A
battle race event is also available. Each themed
area will feature a "guest star," whose
car becomes playable once the player defeats him.
Cel Damage features guest stars ranging
from Transylvanias Count Dracula to the
Deserts Whack Angus.
Cel Damage
sports a frantic, cel-shaded cartoon look, using
a state-of-the-art cartoon physics engine to
model "realistic" effects and
interactive environments. Players will interact
with triggered gags, perform stunts, and, of
course, pummel their opponents into slag. Car
models will distort in real time, reacting to
damage by actually altering the mesh of their
framework.
Choose
your weapon and start your engine!
Cel Damage pits a
cast of crazy toons against each other in
maxed-out, weapon-laden vehicles to
out-maneauver, out-race, and out-smack each other
for personal glory.
Whether it is a
tommy-gun totin' ganster duck or a diminutive
demon with a woodchipper these gas-powered
gladiators battle it out across 12 highly
interactive environments with a host of wild
weapons, such as giant boxing gloves and baseball
bats, at their disposal.
A stylish
cel-shaded look and revolutionary "stretch
and squish" phyiscs engine make it seem as
if all the wild action is taking place in an
actual cartoon episode. It is time to get
aggressive behind the wheel because the
toons rule the road

Game
Modes
- Smack
Attack: This straightforward deathmatch
mode challenges each toon to smack
the heck out of the the other cast
members to earn "smack points".
The character with most points at the end
of the match wins.
- Flag
Rally: This is the 'toon version of
capture-the-flag. A 'toon must collect
four flags and make it to the
winners circle to be victorious.
The catch is that these flags are on the
move - as in alive and kickin' on their
own two feet, trying to avoid capture.
- Gate
Relay: This is combat racing at its
finest. Two checkpoints are set up within
the course. The first 'toon to pass each
checkpoint five times is the winner. If
only it were that easy.
SINDER
Sinderis a
demented devil who is so chaotic, he got himself
kicked out of hell because he couldn't follow the
Boss' orders. He joined the cast of Cel Damage
for the sheer pleasure of destruction. His ATV is
very maneuverable, allowing him to position his
close-range weapons for maximum mayhem. Sinder's
default weapon is Flame Balls.
DOMINIQUE
Don't let her
soft classy lady exterior fool you; inside is a
black heart and nerves of steel. Dominique is a
class act who revels in delivering exquisite
torment to her opponents. She views the pace and
mayhem of Cel Damage as simple, and quite
enjoyable, recreation.
BT BRUNO
BT Bruno to the
Cel Damage crew! This ex-construction worker is a
big oaf with a heart of gold, an eating disorder
and an Elvis fetish. B.T. brings a unique brand
of "affectionate violence" to Cel
Damage. He drives a mean bulldozer and loves to
crush other cars with his giant sledgehammer.
WHACK
ANGUS
Whack Angus, the
ruler of the desert. In the midst of dodging
grenades, baseball bats and chainsaws, you'll
bake in the blazin' hot sun. But where else can
you battle it out in the dusty grit of a genuine
western ghost town complete with speeding
locomotives and 'toon-crushing avalanches? To
make it out of this butte-infested country with
your boots on, you'll have to face-off against
Whack Angus, the maddest cow this side of the
Pecos. This raging bull is ready to defend his
home turf and at any cost. Whack Angus's vehicle
of choice is his Hot Rod which is equipped with
butcher blades, the finest cutlery in the 'ole
west and his default weapon are gigantic cow pies
made fresh just to smack you.
T.WRECKS
Don't venture to
far from the jungle trail or you may just run
into T. Wrecks and his 30-foot-tall temperament.
Nothing ruins a nice morning drive through the
woods quicker than a dinosaur in a monster truck.
