LADYDRAGON.COM - Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid 2

Developed by Blitz Games and published by THQ, Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid is a 3D platform game that is based on the combination of two movies Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid and The little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea.

The first chapter you will play Ariel the mermaid that is dreaming of becoming a human. The second chapter takes place 14 years later where you play Ariel's daughter Melody where she goes into the sea in search of Atlantica.

During your adventure you will have the company of a yellow fish called Flounder that will talk to you and gives you advice along your way. You will also meet other animals that will help you out like Sebastian, Tip, Dash, Dagger and Cloak. You also have enemies to beware of like guards and Ursula.

You will travel through 12 levels where you collect coins, stars, pearls plus special items like a trident or a snarfblatt.

Depending on how many pearls you collect you will be able to unlocked 3 bonus games

that can be played alone or with a friend. Only the bonus games are multiplayer.

Despite of the 12 levels the games is quite short and easy to play, it will not take you long to finish the game but if you want a good game for your young children they will love this one because it is very easy to control with the Analogue feature except for saving your game it is not obvious with that albatross.

Each level starts with a movie clip where you follow the story, in total over 30 minutes of movie clips combine together.

The characters and levels are well design. The soundtrack is took directly from the both movies which gives you the pleasant ambience of the movies.

Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid is a pleasant game that is gear towards young gamers or simply if you are a fans of mermaids and want to play a game based on these two movies.
