HoD is a great game, that proves an old genre isn't exactly inferior yet. |
Finally,
we see a game with the same gameplay style as "Out
of this world" and "Flashback". Its about
time for another game of the old side scrolling action
adventure genre. The storyline in HoD, is about a little boy that has lost his dog named Whiskey. Whiskey was kidnapped by nocturnal creatures from the solar eclipse. Your character will have to wander through a hostile world, and resolve different obstacles throughout the way. This
game offers a good challenge even for the experienced
player. Jump, run, fight, think, and ambush are just a
few of the skills that you must refine if you are to be
successful. If you do not know of the game what a side
scrolling action game is, then imagine that you are
playing a game where you have to go through a series of
obstacles in

The enemies are very aggressive and openly show it. At first view HoD can seem like its a game for kids, but wait and see the complexity of the entire game and you'll realize its a game for anyone, disguised as a kids game. The
graphics are extremely One thing you'll find to be very important is your reflexes. You must be able to destroy your enemies faster than they can destroy you. Or else you'll find yourself dead faster than you can say 'ouch'. At times, HoD can seem overly difficult, yet at times it seems a breeze. Overall, it took 6 hours in order to complete the game. HoD is a great game, that proves an old genre isn't exactly inferior yet. This is a very entertaining title, which I would suggest for nearly all ages, and especially anyone interested in games of this same genre, like "Flashback" or "Out of this World". |
