return to Never Land is an adventure game based on the
Disney movie. You play the role of Peter Pan but you will be able to play Tinker Bell as well in some instance and the rest of the time she will follow you everywhere you go. You will travel through the Regions of Never Land first to find your knife then to found pieces of a treasure map plus the Lost Boys.
Never Land is divided into Regions and Regions are divided in Levels. When you clear one Level another one opens for you to explore. When you clear all the Levels in one Regions, you can fly to the next Regions. You can fly back to any Level or Region you have already cleared and explore it again.
In order to orient yourself there is a map where you can see the Regions that you have or can be explore because they are marked by a red X. You will also see question mark that represent Secret Places to explore plus the Indian Shop.

 While you travel through out Never Land there is Feathers of different color to collect. White are worth 1 point, Blue 5 points and Red 10 points then you can go to the Indian Shop and buy items like Tips and Health Heart since your Life Gauge is represented by hearts. You will also find in Levels yellow flowers that you cut down that gives you Heart Health and Film Reel that allows you to watch a clip from the movie in the Indian Shop. In Levels you will have Hint Alert window that will appear in order to inform you that something important is coming close by. You will also found Keys and Switches to activate to open doors and gates and in other Levels you simply race against time. Peter Pan is an interesting character to control since he flies and can only walk on wood or he may get hurt so you have to fly always and there is enemies and object to beware of like pirates along the way that will try to stop you plus of course Captain Hook.
The game also has a beautiful soundtrack that blends well with the Gameplay that has songs from the Walt Disney Company like Never Smile at a Crocodile. All together Peter Pan in return to Never Land is an unique and amusing adventure game that is geared towards the young gamers and will please fans of Peter Pans and Tinker Bell as well. |
