LADYDRAGON.COM -- SPYRO2: RIPTO'S RAGE

Insomniac Games brought us the Spyro the dragon witch was just enter into the PlayStation "Greatest Hits" series with already one million units sold and now you can enjoy again that little cute purple dragon in his new adventure Spyro2: Ripto's Rage.

Ripto the dinosaur is making trouble in the world of Avatar and our friend Spyro was chosen to restore the piece and save the world of Avatars.

Spyro is our favorite little purple dragon that has a lot of spunk and life in him. He is also very curious so to prevent him to get into trouble too much, he has a little companion a dragonfly called Sparx that follows him around and keeps an eye on him.

The way Sparx helps Spyro is that overtime he takes a hit his color changes so that you can monitor Spyro's health at all times. Sparx color changes from yellow for full health to green for a lost of life.

3 steps needs to be done in order to save the the world. Spyro need to collect gems, orbs and talismans. When a realm is cleared a portal appears to bring him back to the Home World. You do not need to collect everything to carry on but you must complete all the worlds of Avatar in order to win the game.

Elora Hunter the Cheetah, Professor, Moneybags and Zoe are the 5 Avatars that will help him solve puzzles and direct him properly through out the game Spyro.

Spyro also has some special new and improved skills to defend and protect himself like

Spyro is now swimming

breathing out flames, Charging like bull, Supershot-Spit balls of fire, swim underwater, climbing ladder and headbash to open or crack items.

In each realm you will have some Avatar to talk to. They will either ask or tell you something. Also you have some enemies to defeat along your traveling when you defeat an enemy his spirit is release you can look at the spirit particle to see how many you have left depending on how many spirit you have on the particle spirit will allow you to activate some power-ups like Superfly, Supercharge, Bigbounce, Powerflame, Invincible, Superfreeze.

Spyro2 will make you discovered 30 new fantastical 3D worlds combine with bonus task like solving puzzles, mini-games and hidden areas to explore. Steward Copeland ex-member of the POLICE did the music as well for original Spyro so it keep the good style.

You will also notice that every that did good in the first one they did better and added detail. Meaning like when Spyro breaths out fire it used to be a one big cloud of fire now it is more like a few ray of fire. also the expression on his face is more define and they added a new camera angle that can bring close to the back of Spyro and you can look around better up, left or right.

Again Spyro2: Ripto's rage will definitely amuse and entertain you for many hours of fun and exploration with many fantastical world to discover.
