The Test Drive Series Returns With Another Excellent Racing Game ! |

Drive 4 had changed the aspects of the original series.
Now, Test Drive 5 brings even more of a challenge than
its predecessor without losing the original interest
conceived by Accolade. The same cars return and again
offer one of the better race games produced by this
company. Take your place at the championship and qualify
in order to become the one and only winner. Once more, Test Drive 5 is making competition for Need For Speed 3. The realistic sensations is not as good as in the first versions but the choice of tracks and the rapidity of the graphics unfolding themselves in front of you are completely unique. An intense game, plain and simple. You can choose between different kinds of cars and the number of circuits you can drive is far superior to Test Drive 4. If you play in a challenge against other players on the Internet, you will need a computer with a high performance so that the game is not jerky.

 "The reflection of the sun in the windshield !" The graphic quality is similar to what Test Drive 4 offered to us. Nevertheless, you do notice that there is an improvement in the depth perception. Also, it is very easy to handle your car with or without any special equipment. And when there is a collision, the cars don't show the dents, and one would have perhaps preferred the opposite. I am certain that Accolade aimed high with this racing game and the produce is worth the price. It lacks some surprises but usually, Test Drive 5 is proportional to the other excellent games of this category. This game is offered in PlayStation and in a PC version, the difference being minimal with the exception that if you use a 3DFX card for the PC, the graphics and light effects are much better and more excessive. All-in-all, I suggest it without hesitation for the entire family ! |
