If you want to play baseball wherever you go with your Game Boy, All-Star Baseball 2000 from Acclaim is the game for you.

The menu offers you different modes of play like, Home Run Derby. The computer will let you select some players to be your team. You can choose up to 5 from each Conference for a total of 10 then you start to play. Any swing that does not result a home run is an out. After 10 outs your turn is over, so choose your pitches wisely.

Exhibition: Is one game only where you can practice for the Season mode.

Season: In this mode you will play an entire season you can choose from 4 lengths, 13/15, 26/30, 87 and a real full season of 162 games. then off you go.

Batting Practice; This lets you practice your skills as a batter.

All Star: This mode obviously lets you play an All-Star game.

Password: A password is given to you when you exit your game so you can pick up where you left off.

Playoffs: You choose your team then the computer chooses the others 7 then you battle for the World Series. You have an illustrated ladder where you can follow the progress of the other teams.

Option: You can choose the level of difficulty up to all-star. The play mode quick or normal. The sound and the Auto field on or off.

Like you can see this game is very complete the only thing missing is a multiplayer option.

All rest is very well done the graphics are very good, you can actually see the fans in the crowd that are sitting or standing up as you hear them cheering you up when you hit a foul ball.

The control is very precise when you are the pitcher. You can choose the speed of the pitch and the style and also exactly where the ball will land.

All-Star Baseball 2000 offers you many options and hours of play with great graphics and control.
