Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, Pokémon was an idea of genius. In Japan, Pokémon is the most popular game of all time and here, all America is falling under the charm of these adorable creatures. You see Pokémon is a good mixes RPG and " Tamagotchi ". During your adventure you will encounter 150 small creatures called pokémon. Each pokémon has individual statistics and an identification number which makes it unique. Moreover, they gain experiment after each combat and can gain level as well as evolving in more powerful form. On the market there are two different versions of the game, one blue and one red, and each one comprises 10 pokémons impossible to find in the other version. Therefore there is only 140 pokémons by version and that forces you to exchange with someone else if you want to have the 150 cute creatures. You play the role of a young adventurer who wants to become "Squirtle against Charmander, which will win ? "	"A combat begins " the best pokémon master in the world. At the beginning of the game you are equipped with three essential things: your first pokémon, a pokédex (a kind of electronic device which keeps information on your pokémons) and pokéballs (an accessory which enables you to catch pokémons). When you meet a wild pokémon, a battle begins and only when the pokémon is almost unconscious that you can try to capture it. The graphics are very simple but it does not prevent from appreciating the game and the sounds that pokémon makes can easily become irritating but you can cut them. The music it is very interesting and it gives a good atmosphere to the game. Pokémon is a game wich can hold your attention for several hours and if you already had a thing for the "Tamagotchis" and you like not too complicated RPGs, then give Pokémon a try, this game will surprise you!
