After the success of Army Men from the company of 3DO, they have brought us a tank simulation that doesn't lack action. Battletanx is an action game where you are given several missions in which you must regulate your position. A war has generated a catastrophe in the world and you are on board your assault tank traveling the streets of the city in a mission to dominate. A simple game but very effective in that it offers more action than just a simulation.

BattleTanx is a mixture of Battle Zone and MA1-Abram. The difference is that the functioning and maneuverability of the vehicle is very simple in BT and you must traverse a sorry, hostile world where enemies and several others hide themselves. The objective is to neutralize all the tanks around you without being destroyed yourself. If you destroy buildings, you can collect special weapons, cubes of energy or bonus points. If you have the Rumble Pack, the hand-level will vibrate at the time of your firing.

Play in multi-player mode with up to 8 players simultaneously !

The fans of multi-player mode games will enjoy the advantage that BattleTanx offers in the possibility of playing up to 8 competitors simultaneously. The graphic definition excels throughout the game. The control quality of the vehicles will allow even players that lack experience a good thrill. All-in-all, this game is great !

Whether you're a fan of fighting games or action games, you will love bringing down the enemies here. The ability to demolish everything in your path makes BattleTanx a very exciting and versatile game. If you want my suggestion however, don't pulverize the barrels of Nukes, they may very well explode. 3DO delivers the goods with success with this one and one can already expect to hear this title is a hit.
