The famous Bomberman returns once again for Nintendo 64. A new series of misadventures has been provided for this little guy who kicks and throws bombs. This time he must save the world from the meanies who want to invade the planet. It's essentially the same game as the original with a little revision and a few new scenarios. It is true that the game does have some brightly colored graphics that appeal to the younger set, but it still remains interesting to more experienced gamers too. You'll have to activate objects, jump and hang from ledges and throw bombs. The pictures are completely in 3D.

Some changes were brought about in order that Bomberman can deposit a bomb in a certain place and kick it better. The execution of the game overall won't disappoint the typical gamer. There were also some options incorporated into the game so to please even the beginning players. All-in-all, the game is simple and effective. On the other hand, I must mention that Bomberman Hero seems to be a rather silly character with a big head and the enemies seem just a bit too friendly for my taste. Bomberman Hero will probably not be a major hit, but it will have a long shelf life. If you are young, inexperienced with gaming and don't like complicated plots, this game will suit you perfectly! |
