This episode relates the history of the Belmont family that, centuries after centuries, has stalked the infamous and evil Dracula. You can play as either Reinhardt Schneider, (The latest Belmont) or as Carrie Fernandez (A Magical Lady with an attitude).

But you mustn't forget that this mysterious adventure is mainly about the fight against darkness. Like the other versions, the gamer is thrust in a world where Skeletons, Vampires and other creatures watch your every movement - but this time, it's in 3D !

The return of the Castlevania theme is great in this title, despite the fact that Konomi changed the formula in some places. When you begin, your character has to make its way to and through a frightening castle and explore precious places as several treasures are hidden throughout the game as well as useful items you'll need to complete the levels successfully. the game takes a different form as you enter the castle.

In fact, you could compare the game style to that in Resident Evil, as the cinematics and the characters that enter into the scene as well as the objects to look for are quite similar.The game is still fairly loyal to the series, while adding new elements. Castlevania 64 is an essential game for your collection.

If you loved Castlevania Night of Symphony for Playstation, you'll find the same game here, but in 3D. Since it's more of an adventure game than an action title, several puzzles must be solved as they block your way as you progress.the graphic quality is more than adequate and the control is very simple like the other versions, even though the 3D graphics have more difficult movements.

In conclusion, if you are an unconditional fan of Castlevania, you'll love this game. A tip - the time factor (day and night) will activate different secret passages. So, if you want my opinion, when you penetrate the domain of Dracula, watch out and check every detail in front of you. Also, I suggest you take some rations for certain enemies are powerful and you could be destroyed otherwise.
