A fighting game for 2 players arrives for the N64 |
| The last
combat game that has been released in N64 was created by
the developer Core and the publisher Crave Entertainment,
Fighting Force 64. Dr. Zeng is a scientist who works for
the government and he's persuaded that the end of the
world will arrive at year 2000. But year 2000 passed and
nothing happen. Dr. Zeng is furious and decides to force
the apocalypse to arrive. You must thus take one of the 4
characters beceause it's time to end the end of the world This game is a combat game, you walk in the streets and must beat the enemies allied with Dr. Zeng. You have the choice between 4 characters, 2 guy and 2 girls, who have each one their characteristics and their special move. There are 3 levels of difficulty and 25 different levels but you can't make them all ni one time because sometimes you must choose where to go. You can pick up almost anything in these levels to defend you, from the tire of a car to the bazooka of the army. There are 5 different boss in at all and you will have to face them. You can play in <<coop>> with 2 players to have a lot of fun. The number of movements of the characters is limited. Without the additional weapons that you can't have a long time, there is not large number of possibility to kill the enemies. The control is not very good and the camera is sometimes bad because we can't change the angle of sight.

 There is even Break dancing There is a too large difference between the difficulties, the game is very easy when it is on easy and to difficult on hard, let me say that you should play with a friend who will help on htis difficulty. The only goal of this play is to kill all the enemies in the levels and that repeats all along the game, therefore variety is not very large. While you play, there is no really history between each levels. This game remains a combat game and some people are likely not to like it for this characteristic. With the 2 players mode, you can have fun with a friend in co-operative with the result that the difficulty of the play decreases. There is a large variety of weapons and you can find some of them everywhere and regularly: knife, axe, pistol and bazooka! The 4 characters add variety in the play without having discrimination. The graphics are detailed enough and the characters move in a realistic way. The environment 3D is very well. Fighting Force 64 is rather a game to play with a friend, it is in this mode that the game will be at is full potential. Only this game remains a combat game where all that you have to do is to beat enemies and this could dsappointed some people. But if you like this kind of game and you want to amuse you with a friend, try Fighting Force 64 because this one is defenitly for 2 players. |
