LADYDRAGON.COM - Tube Slider

Developed by NDCube and published by Nec, this is the first game that Nec brings us and it is a racing game where you race futuristic hover vehicles and it is done exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube.

In the Mode Select Menu you can choose between Training or Compete mode. The Training mode allows you to familiarize yourself with the control of your vehicle.

The Compete mode is divided in 4 selection; Grand Prix is where you race against 7 opponents for the Future Formula title. The Grand Prix mode can be played against the CPU or a friend.

With the Versus mode you can play with up to 4 of your friends at the same time.

In Time Attack you navigate available race courses for your best lap time.

Records is where you will find the list of the best completion times for each race.

After you have selected your Game mode you then can select your vehicle. At first only the Normal Class of vehicles is available, as you progress in your game the Maximum Class will be unlock which contains more powerful vehicles like the Spider.

Here is the list of vehicles; Assassin, Comet, Gekko, Vanilla, Ida-Ten, Narva-Gate, Tiger Schmit, Spider, Octpus.

Each vehicles has 6 Performance Parameters; Acceleration, Top Speed, Handling, Power, Sub Vernier and Fuel Capability.

Plus at the beginning of each race you have the option of choosing your Speed Enhancers called Sub Verniers between Turbo or Booster.

While you are racing they are Velocity pick-ups that will give you automatic Booster. There is an other way to get more speed by Locking -on to your enemy in front of you.

Since you race into a Tube your view can change from both side very fast, it might give you a headache after a while since it is a see through tube.

But if you like fast racing game of that sort you will find that the control a good and that the graphics are very nice.

Tube Slider is a fast futuristic racing game where you can play with up to 4 of your friends if you like that type of game.
