Walt Disney Home Entertainment presents
Piglet's Big Movie, the first Piglet movie where not only
feature Piglet has the primary character but it also
include all of his friends like Winnie the Pooh, Tigger,
Eeyore, Rabbitt, Roo and Gandra and more from the Hundred
Acre Wood. The first thing you will notice is that there is a Lady that will explain how to navigate through the DVD and what else the disc has to offer beside the movie so that your child can play it without needing your help. The movie starts with Winnie, Tigger, Eeyore and Rabbitt planning to get the honey from the bee's hive and Piglet comes along and asked them what they were doing and if he could help and they said to him they did not need his help. So they go ahead with their plan but it does not go according to their planning and Piglet helps them to make sure that they succeed. After getting the honey they all congratulate themselves but fail to recognize and congratulate Piglet for his important contribution. Piglet deeply hurt by the lack of appreciation from his friend goes wondering into the wood by himself. Finally his friends think of Piglet but is a bit too late and Piglet is no where to be found. They go over to his home and come across Piglet's Book of Memories and they believe that the book is the key that will help them locate where Piglet has gone. This is where the adventure will begin for Piglet's friends plus while going through the Book of Memories they realize how valuable Piglet friendship is to them. The film includes five new songs by Carly Simon and Brian Hohlfeld, and music from the legendary Disney song duo The Sherman Brothers. The music and songs blends very well with the story line like using Rimsky-Korsakov when the bees appear or when Kanga explain to Piglet what a mother does. The DVD also has bonus feature like a game, Sing Along and some print out to make your own coloring book. Piglet's Big Movie is a very interesting movie since it is from the point of view of Piglet always helping out and never getting the credit that he deserve only after he dessapear they realize what they are missing. This movie truly shows that saying that you usually do not realize someone' s value until we have lost that person plus it shows that everyone has something positive to contribute no matter who they are even a little Piglet can make a big different in someone's live. |
