LADYDRAGON.COM - 4 x 4 Evo 2

Developed by Terminal Reality and published by Gathering of Developers, 4X4 Evo 2 is an original and exiting racing game where you do not race with cars but with big 4x4 trucks like a Jeep.

There are 4 different game mode to play. In the Quick race mode you can race all the courses up to 20 laps and against up to 5 opponents.

In the Time Attack mode you compete against a Ghost truck for the fastest time.

In Free roam you can explore any tracks as you wish plus in each track there is a secret to find.

Career mode is your main mode. You begin your game with $30 000 and you need to purchase a truck before racing. There are also parts to buy and even a garage to wash your truck in between races.

Then you choose what type of racing you will do. Not all the events are open at first, they will get unlocked as you progress in your game.

They are 4 types; Series are competitions where you compete in several races for an overall series championship and you receive money based on your finishing position.

Qualifying events are special races that contain only a single race and most series require you to compete a qualifying event before you are eligible to compete in the series.

The Team race, if you win enough races on your own, a Team will invite you for a tryout race. If you succeed you will become a member and get privilege like being able to purchase more vehicles and parts.

In Missions there are Adventure Missions to complete each of them will earn you some cash plus there are hidden areas if you find them it will give you bonus money.

Before you start racing there are setting like Tires, Suspension, Transmission, Brake balance and Winch that you can adjust in order to be better prepare for your race.

One important Game Mode missing is a multiplayer mode specially now that you play easily 4 players with the Xbox it would of had more depth to the game and certainly more funs among you and your friends.

It features the new Dolby Surround 5.1 which makes it stands out sounds wise.

There are over 70 types of vehicles to drive even the famous Monster Truck vehicle.

Graphically it is pretty good, you will be able to see the reflection of the trees on the hood of your truck while you race.

4X4 Evo 2 is a fun and refreshing racing game where instead of racing fancy cars you race with SUV-Sport Utility Vehicle like Jeeps and Land Rover even in the wilderness.
