LADYDRAGON.COM - Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness

Developed by HotGen Studios and published by Kemco, Egg Mania: Eggstreme is action-puzzle where you control a colorful little Egg.

The game consist of building a tower on water from falling pieces like à la Tetris but if you leave too many gaps in your tower wall, rising water will destroy your progress.

The way you build your tower is original, you control a cute egg shape character and it catches and places the pieces for you so in order to win your little Egg need to reach the top and grab the Balloon Basket first.

There are 8 fun Egg characters of different color and personality to choose from; Bebub, Coolio, Astro, Yolko, Eggy, Funky, Robo and Spike. 5 more Egg can be unlock has you play and win.

While you play there are Items that will fall that will either help you build your tower like the Spatula or destroy your opponent's tower like the Hammer. Plus you need to be vigilant because there are Pesky Monsters that will either steal your piece or throw you off your tower in the water.

Do not worry you have allies too like Dolphins and Ghosts that will pick you up and bring you back on top of your Tower. In total there are 33 different Enemies and Allies that you can encounter during your game.

In the Main menu the main mode is Egg Mania where you select your level of Difficulty between Over Easy or Hard Boiled and you can play against the CPU or with a friend. There are 8 stages in total.

Then in Extra Mode you will be able to choose from 5 other game mode. In Bomb mode instead of building your tower like in other mode your goal is to demolish your opponent

to demolish your opponent either the cpu or a friend tower before your tower is destroy. You both do so by catching Bombs and Hammer and throwing it as fast as you can.

In Solo mode you play by yourself and your goal is to beat your best score or fastest time,

Survival is similar to Egg Mania except the stages never ends and the game will only end when you or your opponent is defeated.

In Custom mode you can customize your game to your liking with options like the number of rounds rounds, bomb time and water speed.

In Tournament you can play 8 players and compete one on one in the Egg Mania or Bomb mode.

The music is festive and amusing but unfortunately the characters do talk it would of been fun to hear some comments from them since they each has their on personality.

The Stages are well design with bright color so are the Characters.

Since you control a Character instead of a cursor its makes the game more fun and non repetitive since you always have choices to pick the piece or not plus your opponent is throwing you bombs and hammers at the same time you can picked it up and throw it back.

Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness will entertain you for many hours since it has many mode to play and different characters to choose from. This an ideal game for gamers that like puzzle games like Tetris.
