LADYDRAGON.COM - Oddworld Munch's Oddysee

Developed by and published by Microsoft, Oddworld Munch's Oddysee exclusively on the Xbox brings us back our hero Abe but this time he has a new friend call Munch to help him out in its adventure.

In this new storyline of Oddworld, Abe the former floor waxer, needs to find the eggs containing his unborn Mudokon brothers which happens to be in the warehoused in Vykkers Labs.

And our new hero is called Munch, he is the last surviving Gabbit on Oddworld. Gabbits were an amphibious species that were hunted to the verge of extinction for their lungs and their eggs. Munch finds out that one can of Gabbits eggs remains, and that the Vykkers and Glukkons have it in their possession.

So Abe and Munch must work together in order to save their respective species from total extinction.

Both are different size and have their own abilities like Munch is better in water and to control machinery and Abe moves faster on land and can possess enemies.

They will have to beware of enemies like the Glukkons, Vykkers, Interns, Sligs and the Big Bro Sligs.

Their is also power-ups to help you out like beverages of Expresso, Bounce, Aqua Bounce, Zap, Invisible plus the Spooce.

During your adventure it is essential that your rescue your friends because it will affect the ending of the story. The more friends your rescue the better your Quarma will be. You will know if your are rescuing enough friends if your halo is gold if not it will be red.

You will encounter problems with the view of the camera, sometimes it is hard to control the view so that you have the right angle. Also the Gameplay can be a bit repetitive at times.

Graphically the designs of the levels are well done as for the animated cut-scenes. Plus it fun to be able to change characters when ever you want, it gives you more options in how solve a level.

Oddworld Munch'Oddysee is a game that has fun innovated ideas like the interchanging characters during a level plus having a new character to play is giving the series of Oddworld more depth.
