LADYDRAGON.COM - RalliSport Challenge

Developed by a company in Sweden called Digital Illusions, best known for having developed games like NASCAR Heat and RallyMasters and published by Microsoft, RallySports Challenge is rally racing game done exclusively for the Xbox.

Your main mode is the Career but there is also single race, time attack to select plus the multiplayer mode where you can play with up to 4 players.

In your career mode you start in the Pro circuit with a limited selection of cars. By progressing you will unlock new cars and harder events.

Each events consist of several stages but you do not need to win every stage to win an event. Every time you finish a stage, you earn points. You can also earn points through achieving a high top speed, excellent lap time and avoiding car damage. Then after each event your points are added to your over all total.

As you progress through the different race classes; Pro, Expert, Classic and Unlimited, you will unlock groups of cars plus there is special bonus cars to unlock if are a superior racer.

In total there is 48 tracks on 4 race type Rally, Rallycross, Ice Racing and Hill Climb.

This is not a simulation racing game but there is a lot of option that you can configure to your liking like your HUD view and music play list.

There is 29 fully Licensed cars like Citroen, Lancia, Opel, and Saab. Fans of Rallies will be please to know that they added the famous Group "B" cars of the 1980's for your enjoyment.

The Gameplay is where this game will catch you attention. Have you ever drove on ice in a Rally game well this game gives you this opportunity for the First time on the Xbox.

Microsoft was also considerate to animals. You will see animals run away from the road without being hurt in any way.

The sound can be configured to your liking by selecting your favorite CD if the sound track does not appealed to you.

The graphics are also very well done but you might not be able to see much since you will be concentrated in your fast pace driving but there is a replay feature where you can view your race.

So you will able to enjoy graphical affects like tress bending and the weather effect on your car plus of course the damage that you have inflicted to your car along the way.

RallySports Challenge is a fun an unique rally racing game so if you like Rally driving games this is THE game to own in your collection.
