LADYDRAGON.COM - Silent hill 2: Restless Dreams

Developed and published by Konami, Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams brings you back again to that creepy town Silent Hill in order for you to solve an other exiting and horror mystery and this time it is a brand new story line but with the same fog that will give you the chills and keep you on your toes once again.

This time you will play the role of James Sunderland, who has lost his wife 3 years ago from a serious illness.

James is struggling to put his life together despite of the fact that he still feels emotional pain and emptiness. One day a cryptic letter arrives signed by Mary his late wife.

The letter says "Silent Hill, our sanctuary of memories ... I will be waiting for you there."

Silent Hill is a town that once held a great meaning for the couple.

James is confused and disturbed by the letter starts questioning himself or whether Mary is alive or if someone is playing a hoax on him. He then decide to uncover the truth and sets off to Silent Hill.

Upon arriving there, once again there is a thick fog if you have played the first Silent Hill you know what I mean if not then you are in for a big surprise :)

In order to go to Silent you need to go through a tunnel but it is block so you start the game in the bathroom where after you will find a map that will indicate to you that the only way to get to Silent Hill is by foot and there you go and start your adventure from there.

At the beginning of the game there are 2 Scenarios to choose from, the Main Scenario is called Letter from Silent Heaven and the Sub Scenario is called Born from a Wish. If you want to enjoy Silent Hill 2 to the fullest you need to start with the first scenario because this additional scenario has been written as a supplement to the main game.

Before you start your Main Scenario you need to select your Action Level. There are 4; Beginner, Easy, Normal and Hard the different is with the monsters, the harder your Action Level the faster and stronger the monsters are.

Then you need to select your Riddle Level again from Beginner, Easy, Normal and Hard this will determine the complexity of the Riddles.

And in the second scenario you only need to select your Action Level once again.

James is not alone in this mysterious town like he will encounter Angela, Laura, Eddie and Maria.

There are Weapons like a Wooden Plank and an Handgun other items are a radio, flashlight, first aid kit, health drink, Mary's letter, bullets.

Keep in mind that it is an horror game its for everyone that is why it bears an Mature rating.

The game has the Dolby Surround sound feature to immerse you well into the suspense.

Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams will still spooked you like the first one and will please the fans of this type of game.
