Developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony, Sly Cooper and the Raccoonus is a fun and refreshing title based on the comic book Sly Cooper and the Raccoonus and that is done exclusively for the PlayStation 2.

You will play the role of Sly Cooper, a charming and amusing Raccoon Thief who was born into the family of the world's greatest thieves. On his eighth birthday, Sly was given the Thievius Raccoonus, a family heirloom that is passed down from generation to generation containing all of their best kept secrets and thieving techniques around.

But later that evening, a gang of ruthless villains broke into his home overpowered his dad while Sly was watching the whole thing the thieves stole the Thievius Raccoonus book and then split it up into 5 ways each taking a piece for themselves.

Now 10 years later, Sly is going to get back what is rightfully his by stealing the five pieces from each of the thieves with his friends Bentley and Murray. Murray is a loveable, purple hippopotamus who helps Sly by driving him into his getaway van. Bentley is a techno-genius turtle and Sly's partner that always cover his back.

When you start the game you are right away plunge into the action. You control Sly who is on the roof then you will feel like who are playing a movie because they have information about the game like a movie when it start then you will experience how his special Binocular is working. You will hear and see Bentley through them where Bentley will give you important informations through out the game.

Then first thing you need to do is to get into Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox's safe. Carmelita a beautiful fox, who is the Police Inspector that has been keeping tabs on Sly for a while now. She almost caught him in Bombay but got outfox by him.

Her safe holds a police report and profile on you, including your family history and some vital intelligence on the Fiendish Five. Once into her office Bentley will give you the combination of her safe.

After recovering the report, you have to go retrieve the pages of the stolen Thievius Raccoonus by sneaking into each one of the Fiendish Five's criminal operations but you need to be careful each operation consist of several hideouts, treasure stashes and they runs tons of criminal activities,

Every inch of the Fiend's empires are under guard by an army of security forces and thugs and Bentley will provide you with regular intelligence updates and decipher codes to help you crack down every vault you find and warn you of upcoming dangers.

When you play the game you will have specifics place to go but not always you can explore on your own the level. There are also 4 Mini-Games that you can play.

Items to pick up during your adventure are Keys,Sly life, Clues, Gold coins and Horseshoes.

Sly can walk, Tip -Toe quietly, Jump, Double-Jump, Grab and Swing from hooks or Rings Climb Ladder, Rope and Pipe.

His Attacks are simple Jumping or Swing the Cane.

His Thief moves are Master Thief Move can be activated when you are near blue sparkles, Enter Vault Code plus Advanced Techniques.

Sly has with him Binocucom where he can scan the area first and zoom in and out where ever he wants.

The game make you feel like you are playing a cartonnish movie since they have use the toon-shading technology to create characters that are simple in color and shade but have distinctive outlines plus the interactive environments used triple pass polygonal rendering for lightning and effects all this combine makes it an outstanding game graphically.

Not only the Gameplay is fun and the dialogue between character is also comical.

Sly Cooper and the Raccoonus is a must have game in your collection, it is an original and amusing game to play specially with this new charming character Sly the raccoon.
