Have you ever wanted to own a cat, but never really wanted to own a cat? Well in P.F. Magic's Catz 3, your dream of having a cat comes true. Not real, of course, but a virtual cat. As a real live cat owner, I can say that they seem very lifelike.

After you start the program, you start off at the adoption center. Here you can meet the pets that you have available, which include many popular breeds. My personal favorite is the Black&White Shorthair, which reminds my of my own kitty. The cats are all different, and act differently too. Even if you choose two cats of the same breed, they'll act differently depending on how you treat them, and how much attention you give them. If you treat them poorly and do cruel things like spray them with water, bug killer, or other things that they dislike, they'll end up being hateful. But if you treat them well, and give them attention, they'll be good, cuddly kitties. The cats behavior seems almost completely dynamic. They never do anything that looks predefined. Your cats will behave just like real cats. They'll play, fight, sleep, eat, and even reproduce, if you have both a male and a female, and if you haven't sprayed and neutered them.

You get plenty of toys, treats, and other things to use with your pets. Including different flavored treats, catnip, balls, toys, stuffed animals, frisbees, pillows for them to sleep on, and even a remote control car that you can control. There are 9 places where your pets can roam and play. These include The adoption center, cloths and toy closets, the backyard, the beach, the family room, and kitchen. Also you can have your pets on your desktop, and in they're own windowed playpen. While in the backyard, you can even plant your own garden, with the boxes of seeds that you can find in the toy closet. Another feature is the camera button, which takes a picture of your pet at that moment. If you continuously take pictures, your pets will pose for you.

This is the perfect game for any cat lover. Not only is it great for those who want a cat, but cant have one, but its great entertainment as well. You really never know what they'll do next, and it just adds to the realism. I highly recommend this game for anyone interested, or wanting a cat. Its also great for those who do own cats, but have to spend time away from them.
