Cars on CD 99 comes back with as much dignity as those before. To satisfy their fans, they collaborate with the Royal Bank, the Belair Direct Insurance and the CAA to create this year version. You have question about automotive or you're simply curious? Cars on CD 99 have all the answers and more!

A genius interface help you to naviguate through all the sections. In the main menu, you have the options to naviguate in french or english and to adjust the sound. Then, you have 6 icons where each one represent a section.

The first one is the Internet update section which let you update the information from the CD. The second one is the new car section in which you'll find 11 sections that start with the manufacturers where you can look at all the models from them, following by the personal selection criteria section and best buy section where you can search models. Then after you can look at the performance ratings and the fuel consumption section, in that one, you can give the percentage of highway road and city road you think you'll do and it will tell you what could be your fuel consumption, even how much it will cost you.

Now, that you've made a choice, you can go in the money matters section and check how big will be your payments or you can go in the insurance section and see how much you'll have to more or less for the new insurance.

You can also see the dealers location. Another one is the comparative analysis section, you can compare 2 or 3 vehicules togheter. You can also reach the critics about a vehicles or an other and the eleventh one is the spec sheets section where you'll find the specifications of the vehicles.

You think it's over, wait, there's more. The next

sections that is available from the main menu is the multimedia. Here you'll find videos on selected models, a virtual show that is very nice, you can turn around the vehicles and see it from 0 to 360 degree. Then you can access the prototypes section like the name says, you can look at the prototypes of some constructor.

You may also consult the interactive lexicon section if needed and, that's my favorite part, you have a 3D show (special glasses comes with the CD) where you can look at some vehicles from outside and inside.

The next section available from the main menu is the magazine. Here you can find a lot of information on both new and used cars. There is an assesment grid that can help you evaluate a car. You will also find tips and useful information on consumption habit and driving attitude, trend and monthly car news updatable with the Internet.

Now the CAA section. Here you'll have the CAA stisfaction ratings about a vehicle, the cost of a lot of parts and the CAA awards. The last section is about used cars where you'll find the resale value and recalls of the 91 through 99 year made cars.

About the graphics, well they are very good and the sound is excellent too but in the videos, The music they chose could of been better. But, with all the stuff available in here, it is pretty good
