ACTIVISION SHOWCASES 13 NEW GAMES FOR GAME BOY ADVANCE AND GAME BOY COLOR AT E3

Robust Slate Includes Games Based on Key Brands Including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Spider-Man, X-Men, Stuart Little and Commander Keen

Pocket gamers will be able to experience the ultimate thrill in hand-held gaming when Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) introduces seven new games for the highly anticipated Nintendo Game Boy Advance and six games for the Game Boy Color at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. The company currently has 13 titles in development for the hand-held systems and will preview new games based on such hit brands as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Stuart Little, Commander Keen and Marvel super heroes Spider-Man and X-Men.

"Today, Activision is a leading publisher for the Game Boy platform and we have every intention of continuing to grow our share on the portable gaming systems," states Larry Goldberg, executive vice president, Activision Worldwide Studios. "We are enthusiastic about the upcoming launch of Game Boy Advance and will be releasing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 to coincide with the release of the new platform. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 for the Game Boy Advance recreates the thrill of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise with new level designs, gameplay and technology. Players choose to ride with the skills of Tony Hawk, the most recognized skateboarding pro of all time, or as one of 12 top pro skaters from the same star-studded lineup that is in the PlayStation game console version. Players perform hundreds of tricks with an intuitive and solid control scheme in a variety of realistic, obstacle-filled locations. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is being developed by Vicarious Visions, Inc. and is expected to be available this spring. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB – Animated Blood–content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.

Spider-Man: Mysterio’s Menace

For the first time ever, pocket gamers can live the fantasy of Marvel’s web-slinging super hero with Spider-Man: Mysterio’s Menace for the Game Boy Advance. This side-scrolling action-adventure challenges players to utilize their "Spider-Sense" and amazing wall-crawling abilities to fight crime as they explore their favorite comic book locales. Players must uncover Mysterio’s sinister plot before it’s too late. Spider-Man: Mysterio’s Menace is being developed by Vicarious Visions, Inc. and is expected to be available this summer. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.

X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse

Marvel’s ever-popular X-Men enter the next dimension when they morph onto the Nintendo Game Boy Advance this fall. Featuring one-to-four-player capabilities, X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse is a side-scrolling brawler featuring over 40 trademark X-Men characters. Two different modes provide adventurous side-scrolling fun and fighting game action. In story mode, players must fight their way through hordes of enemies, drawing on their mutant powers as they attempt to find a way out of a strange, alternate universe. As players progress through the game, they are confronted with former friends and foes from their own universe – all bent on stopping the X-Men from returning home. In versus mode, players can play head-to-head with up to four players. X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse is being developed by Digital Eclipse Software Inc. and is expected to be available this summer. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.

Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder

Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder lets fans build a pro career as snowboarding legend Shaun Palmer or four of the sports’ best riders. Players take their skills to the edge as they shred through four of the world’s best snowboarding locales and discover first hand the secrets of 16 different courses. Players work their way up the ranks of the pro circuit by landing huge tricks in freestyle competitions or snatching the gold in boardercross. Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder is being developed by Natsume and is expected to be available this fall. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.

Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX

Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX lets gamers experience the unparalleled thrill of authentic BMX biking. Featuring Mat Hoffman, the most legendary pro BMX rider of all time, and seven other top pros, the game challenges players to perform hundreds of tricks, combinations and signature moves. Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX features an intuitive solid control scheme that lets players master a multitude of vert, street and dirt track levels. Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX is being developed by HotGen and is expected to be available this fall. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB- Animated Blood and Mild Animated Violence – content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.

Bomberman Tournament

Featuring fast and furious gameplay, Bomberman Tournament delivers its signature brand of non-stop action to fans of the best-selling franchise. In the game, players must tactically navigate through eight different battlefield mazes while hunting down opponents and avoiding bombs. The game is one of the first Game Boy Advance titles that allows up to four players to battle it out from one Game Pak using the Game Boy Advance’s Game Link Cable. The game also features an in-depth adventure mode that lets players travel on a single player quest through five expansive lands, interact with characters, solve brain teasing puzzles and battle mega-bosses. Bomberman Tournament is being developed by Hudson Soft Co., Ltd. and is expected to be available this spring. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB – Mild Violence - content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.

Pinobee: Wings of Adventure

This immersive side-scrolling adventure is set in nine vibrant 3D worlds complete with characters to interact with and obstacles and enemies to overcome. Each world has been hand painted and takes full advantage of Game Boy Advance’s ability to render multi-layered backgrounds for a real 3D effect. Players must guide Pinobee, a robotic bee who is missing a heart, on a quest to find and rescue his kidnapped creator, Grandpa Bee. The game gives players the opportunity to work their way through multiple storylines that result in eight unique and different endings. Throughout their adventures, players can collect over 50 items and magical power ups that can be exchanged with other players over Game Boy Advance’s Game Link Cable. Pinobee: Wings of Adventure is being developed by Artoon Co., Ltd. and Hudson Soft. Co., Ltd. and is expected to be available this spring. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB – content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 is the revolutionary sequel to the best-selling sports game of 2000. The game builds on the success of the franchise by featuring new tricks that players can perform in a variety of obstacle-filled locations. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 is being developed by Vicarious Visions, Inc. and is expected to be available this fall. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.

Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six

Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six is the sequel to the action-adventure game, Spider-Man. Players are the swinging web hero, using all-new powers and attacks to thwart Doc Ock and his evil gang’s plan to defeat Spider-Man. Other old favorites like Scorpion join forces with Doc Ock and a slew of new super-villains to test Spider-Man’s strength, speed and smarts. Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six is being developed by Torus Games and is expected to be available this spring. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB– content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.

X-Men: Wolverine’s Rage

This all-new action-adventure game lets players fight as Marvel’s legendary X-Man Wolverine in 20 levels of gut-wrenching excitement. Features include amazing attacks like "Bestial Rage" which must be used wisely in conjunction with Wolverine’s mutant healing in order to survive an onslaught of enemies. Players must also battle it out with such foes as Cyber, Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike before an evil plan to liquefy Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton is carried out. X-Men: Wolverine’s Rage is being developed by Digital Eclipse Software Inc. and is expected to be available this spring. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB– content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.

Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder

Snowboarding fans can build a pro career as snowboarding legend Shaun Palmer or four of the sports’ best riders. Stuart Little: The Journey Home

Based on the character from Columbia Pictures’ hit motion picture, Stuart Little: The Journey Home (under license from Sony Pictures Consumer Products) for Game Boy Color features the debonair mouse in an exciting adventure designed for the entire family. Players take on the role of Stuart Little, an eternal optimist who has a resilient nature and always looks on the bright side of any given situation. Inspired by the movie, Stuart Little takes on New York with non-stop, action-packed fun as players race, run and jump their way across eight colorful levels with three difficulty settings. Stuart Little: The Journey Home is being developed by Tiertex Design Studios and is expected to be available this summer. The title is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB.

Commander Keen

Created by id Software and based on their original Commander Keen series for the PC, Commander Keen finds precocious 8-year-old superhero Billy Blaze on an all-new quest to save the world from treacherous alien adversaries. A side-scrolling platform action-adventure game, Commander Keen challenges players to save the world by recovering the super-powerful plasma crystals hidden on three separate alien worlds. Each world contains several multi-level maps rife with progressively precarious puzzles, toxic slime pits and secret areas. Throughout their adventure, players will face off against more than 35 different aliens and mega-bosses with their trusty Neural Ray Gun as they collect secret keys, uncover clues and ride magical platforms and special teleporters. Commander Keen is being developed by David A. Palmer Productions and id Software, and is expected to be available this spring. The title is rated "E" ("Everyone") by the ESRB– content suitable for persons ages 6 and older.
