A new addition to the most famous kind of car racing just got out, the F1. Developed by Lankhor and Published by Eidos Interactive, this game promised a lot right from the start. You can now live the same feeling that your favorite F1 driver has when he speeds up his car to 200mph in tight turns and the chance to drive a multi-million dollar car right on your PC. You have the chance to drive 22 cars, with 21 drivers, on 16 circuits from 1998 season. With so many choices to make and even a garage to change the settings on your car, the possibilities are infinite. You can choose from Simulation mode to Arcade mode. Simulation of course will be very realistic and accurate for damage and things like that. The arcade mode is only if you want a quick and simple race to only have fun but with a lack of reality. The level of detail is simply astonishing. All fans of Formula 1 will almost fall out of their chairs. Each of the drivers have their own characteristic and inimitable style of driving. Each car has a different handling and acceleration. Each circuit has been recreated with incredible accuracy. Even the weather is realistic. You had better not get caught with dry tires when it start to rain cause your car will want to slip out of the track at almost every corner. Your car will feel also all the bumps and dips of the track, it is not just a straight race with a flat terrain, many predecessors of the F1 game forgot about this feature. You can practice each circuit before the qualification and explore it by helicopter to see what the circuit looks like. Formula 1 Racing will make you challenge drivers that are truly the best of the best in this world with incredible accuracy. Drive in every famous circuit around the world that looks almost like on TV.

Some graphics look like cartoon and do not offer any realism to the player. The details like smoke and fire are almost absent or very badly done. The lack of the other driver artificial intelligence can also be frustrating.
