Having no kids of my own to test this program, I deiced to let my inner child review it. Take it away inner child.... The program is fun. You can make all sorts of drawings with this program. You can paint pictures or take someone's picture and fix it yourself. A lot of the tools are fun and include sounds to go with them. This makes drawing things more fun because you hear the weird sounds that go with it. The bestest thing about the program is it teaches small kids (and the big ones too) how to use paint programs for big people. Because you learn with the buttons that are the same on other programs. Thanks inner child. Another thing Kidpix Deluxe has going for it, ease of use. All the program buttons are easy to find and easy to use. Loading your own images can be a bit tricky for the younger set as it uses the standard windows interface. The same goes for saving. leaving a child alone saving images could be very messy for your hard drive. Puppets are fun too	Ooo! Look what I made! The program is great for kids because it has a lot of tools and pens that do the drawing for the child. The program also is a great introduction for kids into real paint programs. The interface is very much like a "real" paint program so after a few hours of use a child will know their way around similar programs. Being creative but with no talent I loved Kidpix Deluxe. Anyone who likes to make art will too. With over 1,100 stamps with 330 animated ones, 67 sounds, 67 backgrounds, 589 clip art pieces, fun cutouts like paper dolls and money, and maps. The Slideshow offers more control of the length of the presentation and users can also resize graphics now. To be honest, it would take a lot of time to find all that this little gem can do. Unlike most programs for children, this one seems to have a bit of depth to it. The program inspires something in kids that is more important then math or spelling, creativity. Great job Broderbund!
