In the mood for a game that knows football like no other? |
Some
games seem to get better with age and the Madden series
is no different. Once the king of Football, Madden
slipped a notch when NFL Gameday hit the scene with
better graphics. Now Madden is back with new graphics that help make this one of the best and deepest football sims on the market. One of the things madden has going for it is playability. Their are many ways to play from the "less rules more fun" arcade mode to franchise mode that lets you take complete control of a team. The game also uses teams playbooks, so the action is as real as it gets. Fans of the other Madden games will like this one just as much and perhaps even more. With the addition of internet play and "click 'n coach mode" this game has a lot to offer. In your face action |
Madden 99: Looking better with age The new motion captured animations look great and help to flesh out the action.Over 110 Current and Classic NFL teams are included so you will never run out of teams to play with and all the big names are included. The new motion captured graphics really look great. With a 3D accelerator they really shine, but even if you don't have one the game still has a lot of graphic WOW to it. The only problem I encountered is the small delay when your player switches from one move to another. The can be annoying and does interfere with the play a tiny bit. Other than that small complaint I would recommend Madden 99 to anyone who loves football. With great playabilty, great graphics and a lot of options, Madden 99 is a winner. |
