Developed by Red Storm and
published by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Raven
Shield is a first person shooter strategy game where you
will be the head of a cover counter terrorist team and
you will lead your team to eliminate terrorist or rescue
hostages from them. When you start your game you can select Campaign, Custom Missions or the Multiplayer mode. In the Campaign mode, there are 15 missions with different objectives therefore you will be able to command from one to 8 operatives that can be divided into 3 teams; the Red, Green and Gold teams. Before each missions you will be able to see a map of where you are going either plan how to insert your teams or you can use an already mission plan. You will control a unit if you die, the next operative in your team will be the one that you will control and so on if everyone dies the game will end. So as long as you have an operative alive you can play. |
The Ai needs to be improve they always are at the same place when you start and during your mission. Different placement of the enemies would add more depth to the game. Although there are over 50 weapons like Pistol, Machineguns, Assault guns and Shotguns that you can have during the game you can not pick up weapons. The graphics are nice and well designs but interaction with the environment would be welcome. The control although complex they are pretty good after you know how they work. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Raven Shield is still a good game of this genre if you like that type of game. |
