Developed by Raven and published by Activision, Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix is back once again better then ever where you play the role of John Mullins a military consultant working for the top-secret anti-terrorist group known as the Shop and has sold already a million unit.

John Mullins is a real Special Forces Operative and was in the military for 22 years. Now retired he works mostly has a consultant and in writing books.

He was a consultant on the first Soldier of Fortune but now on the second one he worked even closely to make sure the game was has close has possible to be as realistic as possible but removed kind of the boring part of the job to make sure the game would keep your interest constantly.

Although it is based on its expertise the story line has nothing to do with with the real events of his life.

The story will bring you back in 1989 in Prague where you saved Dr. Piotr Ivanovich then bring you back in the year 2002 to Dallas ,Texas.

You will then go all across the world starting in Colombia in search of the mysterious Prometheus terrorist organization and the deadly Romulus virus.

You are not going to be all by yourself during the entire game, John has a new partner called Madeline Taylor plus other characters to interact with like Dr.Ivanovich, Director Anthony Michaels, Sam Gladstone and Dr. Dmitri Sestrogor. And your main enemies are Aaron Wilson, Alexei Nachrade and Manuel Vergara.

You will start your mission with 6 Commando Knifes and M1911A1 Pistol but has you progress in your game more weapons will be available to you like the Us SOCOM, USUA-12, M590 Combat Shotgun, Micro-Uzi, M3A1" Grease Gun", M4 with M203 Grenade Launcher, AK-74, OICW, MSG90A1 Military Sniper Rifle, M60 Machine Gun, MM-1 40 MM Grenade Launcher, RPG-7 Weapon System and the M60 General Purpose machine Gun System on Armored Mount.

Plus all sorts of Grenades like the AN-M14 TH3, M15, M67, M84, MDN-11, F1, SMOHG92 and the L2A2.

There are also items to pick up during your game to help you like the Thermal and Night Vision Goggles, Body Armor, Toolkit, Binoculars and Health Kit.

There are 13 missions that are divided in many Objective for you to completes.

There is a Multiplayer mode where you can play with up to 32 players. There are 9 maps to play on and 5 Multiplayer Gameplay Type like the Deathmatch, Team DM, Capture the Flag, Elimination and the mission-based infiltration mode.

Plus there is a feature called Random Mission Generator that generate 4 type of mission for to play; Infiltration, Assassination, Demolition and Escape. Then you can select option like time of day , location and if you want a time limit or inventory in your mission.

Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix is improved compare to the last one so if you are looking for a game to fight terrorist this game is a must own in your collection.
