Build N Battle the ultimate action figures...

If I had kids and one was a boy and he was about 9, I think he would love this game.

The idea is simple.  You design your own Small Soldiers from the head down to do combat in an arena.  Think of a Barbie doll factory meets a bad mortal kombat and you will have this game in a nutshell.

The game is based on the summer movie of the same name. I have not seen it so I can't tell you how close they got the game to the movie.

The interface is very nice and very easy to use.  Even a very small child could probably get the hang of it very quickly.   You start of with the body and add pieces to it.  From legs to arms etc.  Each piece gives your solider new powers he can use in the combat arena.

Take that you bad toy you!

You can build em

Once you design your solider you send him off to battle in an arena.  The arenas are funny because they are bathrooms, living rooms etc.

I bet you have not seen someone in a video game lob someone's head off with a toothbrush!

The weak point in the game is the combat.  It looks nice with a 3D card but it plays awful.  The movements are jerky and the controls are awkward.   That's the biggest disappointment in the game is the lame fighting mode because the idea of building your own fighter is a new one for 3D fighting games.

Close but not quite. I can't see kids or anyone sticking with this game for very long.
