Speed, Power, quality ... All in one. |
SuperBike is
the younger brother of Moto Racer 2. Published by
Electronic Arts, SuperBike requires a lot of power from
your PC, and the more power you have the higher the game
quality. To be an expert you need to know the bikes, based on the real ones, like the Ducati 916, the Honda RC45, the Suzuki GSXR750 and the Yamaha YZF750. Each of them has a different style of riding, You need to choose the one that you prefer. After this you can go to the tracks based on the real SuperBike World Championship. The Italian one, Monza, is the best known. After a lot of practice and some courses where you finish last, you will know all the curves and how to approach them. You will also know how to balance your body with the bike. Lets talk about the quality of this game. With SuperBike you can play with a maximum of 32 cpu racers on your own PC and 16 real players in multi-player mode.
"The movies at the end of the course are beautiful... but don't think to do that at the beginning." |
"Choose your bike." Most of he sounds and music are good but not the one of your bike. It decreases the level of interest a little bit. The graphics are very good and the game is so smooth it is really impressive. You feel like a real SuperBike racer. The precision of the game is very high. You need to practice a lot before beginning to see the other cpu racers at the finish line. The controls are very good too. For example, if you're using a keyboard, you can go in options and setup the perfect response to your commands. This takes me to the most important point. The realism of the game is so good that you can crash your bike when you push it too hard or when you run into another racer. Finally, SuperBike World Championship is a game for the Motor racing fans and everybody who likes speed. |
