PacketVideo Brings Live TV to the iPhone PV First to Deliver Operator Video Services on Popular Smart Phone Platform Mobile World Congress 2009 BARCELONA, Spain & SAN DIEGO-PacketVideo (PV) announced today the commercial availability of PV’s mobile video application for the Apple iPhone, enabling the delivery of operator-branded TV and video services on the popular smartphone for the first time. The application is available immediately and will be sold via operator distribution. Mobile operators are expected to offer the new iPhone application under their own brands via the iPhone Application Store, enabling subscribers to view local live television channels and on-demand video clips.
