Vera wins the first 4 games and Petra wins the next 2 and Vera the next 2 to win the first set 6-2 in 29 minutes. Vera is winning most of the points 30/17.
Vera wins the first 3 points 3-0. Petra fights back and wins the next 4 games to take a 4 -3 lead. Vera breaks 4 all. Vera holds and now Petra need to hold as well in order to remain in the match 5-4. Vera breaks and wins the set 6-4 and the match in 74 minutes.
Too much errors from Petra 28/13. Vera reaches her third gran slam semi-final in a row. Vera will face Kim in her next match. |
