Maria Sharapova wins over Sara Errani at the 2012 TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championship MONTREAL--(LadyDragon.com)23/10/12-- Maria wins the match in 2 sets 6-3 and 6-2 in 1 hour and 32 minutes. This is the third match of the day. Earlier today Agnieska Radwanska won 6-3, 6-2 over Petra Kvitova in the Round of Robin in Group B and Serena Williams won over Angelique Kerber, 6-4, 6-1 in the Round of Robin in Group A. Maria serving first. Maria gets to a quick 30-0 with an ace then not such everything became difficult but she managed to hold, 1-0. Maria served 222 aces in the 2012 season and Sara 23 aces. Very long game from Sara during this game Maria hits the ball then asks to chalenge and the empire said no but after 3 break points Maria wins the game, 2-0.
Maria flies to a 30-0 lead but looses the next 4 points to give the game to Sara. 2-1. An other long game, Sara saved a break point and holds, 2 all. This is going to be a long match over 30 minutes of play already and we are only in the middle on the first set. Maria goes down 15-40, brings it to deuce and finally wins the game, 3-2. Maria asks to speak with her coach. Seams to have paid off because Maria breaks to 15, 4-2. Maria back on track now hold to 15 with her second ace of the match, 5-2. Now it is Sara that is asking for her coach. Maria looses 4 points in row then win for points in a row then Sara wins 2 to finally hold, 5-3. Maria serving for the first set. Maria starts with her third ace and holds to 15. Maria wins the first set 6-3 in 55 minutes. This year, when Maria wins the first set she has won the match 47-1.
A double fault from Sara gives a 3 break points to Maria then Maria breaks to Love to start the second set, 1-0. Maria wins the second game with ace #5, 2-0. Sara holds to 30, 2-1. Maria holds to Love, 3-1 Maria breaks to 30 to take a 4-1 lead in the second set. Sara asked to talk to her coach. Maria wins the game and now Sara serving to stay in the match, 5-1. Sara holds to Love and now Maria serving for the match, 5-2. Maria holds to win the second set 6-2 and the match. Maria started off her rock but got back on track then you could see that Sara was no match for Maria.
