Intersolar North America 2014 SAN FRANCISCO--The partnership of CEC GreatWall Energy and SIC USA will provide a complete solution offering, inclusive of critical pre and post sales technical support, O&M programs, and third party backed warranty assurance for the complete line of Satcon PowerGate Plus and Equinox solutions in North America. The announcement follows the acquisition of Satcon assets by GWPC, a subsidiary of China Electronics Corporation (CEC), in September 2013. CEC is ranked 395 in the 2013 Fortune 500 and one of 53 China’s state-owned-enterprises (SOE). CEC GreatWall Energy has been Satcon’s manufacturing partner since 2009. During that time, CEC has delivered over 3 GW of Satcon systems, including over 100 MW since the acquisition of Satcon in 2013. “The strategic addition of Satcon to Great Wall Energy allows for continuous solution innovation, consistent high quality and reliability, and competitive costs that will allow Satcon to deliver the industry’s lowest LCOE and ensure strong partnership into the future,” said YC Yu, Vice President of GWE. “We can now provide Fortune 400 financial backing to the industry’s most widely deployed inverter solutions and at the same time continue to innovate to improve performance and quality into the future.” “The Satcon Ecosystem provides world class support, from system design through to intelligent O&M programs, to ensure that each system performs at its highest levels of performance over its entire 20+ year lifespan,” said Alen Chang, EVP of SIC USA. “This will ensure that each Satcon customer obtains the highest levels of uptime and performance in cost optimized, highly secure programs over the entire inverter lifespan.” The Satcon Ecosystem will be at booth #8511 at Intersolar North America July 8th-10th.
