Maria Sharapova at Arthur Ashe Kids Day

Maria took part in her 2nd Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the US Open. Families and children filled nearly every seat in Arthur Ashe Stadium to catch a glimpse of their favorite tennis palyers and entertainers.

Maria, Will Ferrell, Andy Roddick, Srena williams and Roger Federer got a lot of support from the crowd as they participated in a fast paced target hitting contest to raise money for their respective charities. Not only did the pros consistently hit their targets but Ferrell sent a few lucky fans home with some US Open souvenirs purposely hits the ball hight into the seats.

Presented by Hess and presented USTA, Arthur Ashe Kids 'Day honors tennis legend Arthur Ashe and continues his mission of using tennis as a mean to instill in kids the values of humanitarianism, leadership and academic excellence. Arthur Ashe Kids' Day introduces children of all ages to the great sport of tennis while bringing families together for a fun, interactive experience.
